Welcome, and thank you for your interest in my work! I have over 20 years of experience as a professional sculptor, much of it capturing likenesses, both realistic & animated. As you'll see in my portfolio, the traditional sculpting techniques I use, create a high level of detail sought after by companies and individuals alike!
Usually a commissioned sculpture begins with a discussion regarding your design. It can either be an approved " ready to sculpt" design, or we can discuss an idea that hasn't reached the illustration stage yet. Once a design is finalized, I'll provide you with a quote & timeframe for completion. Please let me know if my quote exceeds your budget, and we can come to an agreement to work together on your project. My turnaround time varies depending on my schedule, but I can work around any deadlines you may have.
I normally work in clay and/or wax for the original sculpt, based on your approved design. Once the sculpt is completed, I'll submit photos for your review. Any revisions would be done at this time, to your satisfaction. Once you have approved the original sculpt...I will create an RTV mold, and cast the piece in resin, so that you have a more durable model. If needed, the resin castings I provide will withstand the process of vulcanized molds.
Much of our business relationship will depend on a good flow of communication that will ensure your project exceeds your expectations. Once your sculpture has been shipped and payment received, I release all rights to them.
